Tiger I Cast Armour

Alternate-history German Tiger I heavy tank redesigned with rounded cast armour on its turret and hull.

The Tiger I is the #1 favourite tank of many, me included. I love its iconic defiant-looking boxy shape, so what if its boxy rolled armour were redesigned with rounded cast armour?

I tried to keep the original proportions and size while smoothing the lines everywhere I could. Drawing inspiration from the M4A1's cast hull and the T-34-85's and IS-2's turrets, the Tiger I (cast) was born.

Its gun mantlet went through some thinking. I wanted to go the more realistic route, making it resemble that of the Panther or T-34-76, but that would lose the Tiger I's iconic mantlet design. So I simply curved it and smoothened its corners.

Maybe I should've made the driver's viewport cast too, instead of leaving it rectangular?
